I recently had a great stay at a charming hotel close to the canal. The location was perfect for me as a cyclist, and it was easy to get to from the station. The hotel's location was great for watching the New Year's Eve fireworks from our room. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with extra blankets and towels upon request. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi access provided in our room.
The bed linens could have been cleaner and fresher, and the room itself could have used some updating. the noise from the traffic outside was quite loud and disturbed our sleep.

The breakfast was decent with a variety of food including toast and jam. The location was good, just a short walk from the town center. It was a nice bonus that the room had a balcony which provided fresh air and a nice view of the area.
The hotel was not as clean as we expected. The bedding had stains and there were spiderwebs in the corners of the room.

Although the hotel offers plenty of amenities, it does not have a swimming pool.
